FAQ

Answers to the questions serious buyers ask before they move event finance.

If you need something more specific about rollout, security, or pricing, contact us and we’ll answer directly.

Who is Cashbox for?
Cashbox is built for festival producers, production companies, and teams running multiple events that need cleaner control over budgets, approvals, FX handling, expenses, and reporting.
Does it replace accounting software?
No. Cashbox is the event-finance operating layer. It gives producers and finance teams a clean event-native record before data is exported into accounting.
Can we track multiple active events at once?
Yes. Multi-event visibility is one of the core reasons the product exists, including portfolio-level reporting across live shows.
How does foreign currency work?
Each line keeps its original currency and the rate at the time of entry so historical reporting stays stable instead of drifting with later FX changes.
Can event managers capture spend from the field?
Yes. Cashbox includes mobile-friendly capture flows so expenses can be submitted on site without waiting to get back to a laptop.
What about artist and crew costs?
Cashbox tracks artist fees, crew payments, contractor costs, and related documents as expenses so they stay visible in the event’s financial picture.
Do you support approvals?
Yes. Teams can use approval thresholds so routine spend moves quickly while higher-risk items land in the approval inbox for management review.
How do we get started?
Most teams start by creating their organisation, setting categories and approval thresholds, and standing up their first live event. If you have a more complex setup, contact us for a guided rollout.
